February 2002

Bob Crosby’s appointment of President/CEO by Founder/ Chairmen Tony Butala of The Lettermen, began operations of The Vocal Group Hall of Fame, a 501(c)3 Non-profit Foundation, now owned operated and governed by the Inducted Artist. Prior structure for the museum was that of a for-profit museum with local Sharon businessman. Responsibility consisted of full operations of the Foundation, Inductions, Museum and all special projects of the Foundation. www.VocalGroup.org

Additional buildings have been purchased for the museum, restaurant, malt shop, banquette center, piano bar and museum now under renovation.

The Truth In Music Committee of The Vocal Group Hall of Fame was formed in 2003 at Inductions.
